Tears of despair shall wipe disparity off

When we dream of becoming something, we start developing a plan and set goals because a dream without a plan is like a lost ship in the ocean. Vishu, a medical student, and a dark and handsome South Indian boy, to secure a doctory, plan to go down the aisle with a beautiful and practically dominating girl and the only daughter of the dean of his medical college.

But time has different plans to tell.

Rinku & Vishu are accidentally married. She then reveals to her accidental husband everything she was reticent about her lover Sajjad Ali Khan, an illusionist, and so Vishu explains everything to boisterous Rinku about Mandy, her fiancé, and that she's expecting him to show up for their wedding. They both are happy to have mutual reasons to end their marriage.

But there comes a situational irony to the doctor's life that he must learn to become a patient first. And with the wisdom of hindsight, he learns

Seeing things through tears may blur the view but not the mindsight

That marrying the same girl you love is a windblown from heaven to one's home. He would want to follow her interest, protect her freedom, reward her for everything she's patient with, and do every possible thing to ensure that her feet are safe in his hands as they were in her father's hand. He would want to water her dignity to have her grow like a flowering tree. His purpose to get married to Mandy was to settle down. But the feelings were not rooted in the heart. It was more of a social marriage than a love marriage.

And lastly, the poor doctor has fallen sick in love, and that sheds light on his conundrum heartbeats for how to subtly, which is not so immediately understandable, obvious, or noticeable, treat her technical wife, who's soaked in the wine of love & hallucinating Sajjad even in the bedroom with Vishu, to turn her into an ethical wife as patiently and doctorly as possible. Now, Vishu has to break scientifically the mystery of why a father marries her daughter off to a suitable husband then a lover.

I, personally, am a big Anand Rai fan ever since I watched his Ranjhana and learned from his directorial movies that a movie is a good presentation of life.

Thankfully, the songs don't jar up in the middle of important scenes. However, the background scores have established the stimulating effect on one's soul, and that apprises why A.R. Rahman is at such a great height today.

Interestingly, Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan's performances would not let you take your eyes off them and would persuade you to believe in them. Vishu's psychiatrist friend, in his usual supportive routine, comes up with typical Bollywood ideas to create slapstick humor.

And above all, I'm thankful to the writer Himanshu Sharma for giving us such a unique
(Atrangi) story to reflect on for profound reasons, especially in today's time where people love to be in a relationship but are afraid of marital commitment.
